CHILDREN'S ENGAGEMENT WORKER x2 -BRIGHTER FUTURES PROJECT

Based at our Community Cwtch's in Swansea

Salary: £19,171 Per annum, Pro rata

30 hour posts

Fixed terms: 1 x Until 30th April 2021 initially and then subject to future funding

                         1 x Until 31st July 2021 initially and then subject to future funding

 

The successful applicants will:

 

Ø  Have a relevant childcare qualification at a minimum of NVQ Level 3

(or equivalent) and

Ø  Substantial experience of working with disadvantaged/marginalised families

Ø  Enable hard to reach children (aged 0 to 16) to build their confidence,  self-awareness and have a voice

Ø  Develop and plan activities that enable hard to reach children to be included in fun child-centred activities and build friendships

Ø  Provide one-to-one intensive support as necessary

Ø  Work with families to find ways to better manage their emotions, feelings and relationships in order to improve family life and have an insight into other family support and signpost appropriately

We are looking for several sessional/relief playworkers to help support our teams.

 

Based at our Community Cwtch's - Swansea

Salary: £15,807 per annum, pro rata

Variety of hours available

 

 

Job Purpose/Summary:

To support the Community Cwtch Manager and staff team in providing high quality child and family support within a positive, safe and happy environment.

To help plan, provide and take part in activities to stimulate and support children’s educational, physical, social, language, emotional and play development.

 

An Enhanced Disclosure is required for this post and receipt of satisfactory references.  Must be qualified to Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development or equivalent.
