Easter Egg Hunt & Community Pic Nic

Easter is a time for celebration and family, and this year, the community of Bonymaen came together once more for a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt. A total of 135 people attended the event, which was a huge triumph thanks to the support of the local community and the generous donation of 108 Easter eggs from Swansea Building Society. Faith in Families organized the Easter Egg Hunt as a way of bringing together families from across the community for a day of fun, games, and of course, chocolate!

The event, which was held at a local park, was a huge success, with families of all ages turning out to join in the fun. Children enjoyed hunting for Easter eggs and taking part in a range of fun and engaging games and activities, while parents and grandparents looked on, enjoying the opportunity to relax and spend time with their loved ones. The community was grateful for the Society’s support, and the Easter Egg Hunt was a great example of how local businesses can work together with community organizations to make a difference in people’s lives.

The Bonymaen Team, together with volunteers, some as young as 8 years old, managed to organise and bring the community together for this fabulous event. Staff had a great time engaging with members of the community and promoting the work that they do. After the Egg Hunt, children had fun getting their faces painted, enjoyed messy play stations, joined in our Egg Roll competition, and had a lovely picnic in the sunshine.

Faith in Families was overwhelmed by the positive response to the event, and staff members were delighted to see so many families enjoying themselves and making new friends. The Easter Egg Hunt was a fantastic way to bring the community together and celebrate the Easter season, and it is sure to become an annual event for years to come.

The event was well received by all who attended, and it was heartening to see so many families coming together to celebrate Easter and enjoy each other’s company. Faith in Families is grateful to our local MP Caroline Harris who donated refreshments, and to everyone who helped to make the event a success and joined in the laughter and spirit of the day. Faith in Families look forward to hosting more community events like this in the near future.
