SENIOR CHILD AND FAMILIES WORKER – Temporary position until December 2023

30 hours per week, Mondays to Thursdays. Salary: £20,161 per annum, per rota.

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking individual who has a heart for supporting those in need in our community. The role would suit someone who is solution-focussed and able to take on new challenges and relevant training.

The successful applicant will lead and support a team of qualified child and family workers to provide a quality service for families attending the setting.

To this end provide: A warm safe environment for children and their parents/carers together with opportunities for activities that will enhance the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual development of children and their families.

To help plan, provide and take part in activities to stimulate and support children’s educational, physical, social, language, emotional and play development.

CARETAKER – COMMUNITY CWTCH’S

20 hours per week (flexible), £10.50 per hour

Basic repairs: working across 3 sites; upkeep and general care of the centres and grounds/gardens; basic plumbing; painting; alarm call outs.

CHILDREN’S EMOTIONAL WELLBEING PRACTITIONER – We reserve the right to close early should we receive a sufficient number of applications for shortlisting.

37 hours per week (Mon-Fri), £21,000 per annum.

Enable hard to reach children (aged 0 to 16) to build their confidence, self-awareness and have a voice. Develop and plan activities that enable them to be included in fun, child-centred activities and build friendships. Provide one-to-one intensive support as necessary. 
Work with families to find ways to better manage their emotions, feelings and relationships in order to improve family life and have an insight into other family support that is necessary and signpost appropriately.

NURSERY NURSE – MATERNITY COVER POST

16 hours per week (two weekly shift pattern between 8am and 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)

To ensure a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children attending the day care setting. To work collaboratively with the manager, deputy and other childcare workers to provide a safe, stimulating and caring environment for children attending Teilo’s Tots. To deliver activities, which promote the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of children attending services.

Various hours available, £9.30 per hour. Must be Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualified, subject to enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
