Bonymaen

We are a small team made up of Child and Family workers, Outreach Workers and volunteers. We all have a passion for community work and enjoy being able to deliver a varied programme of sessions in and around the community.

What We Do

We provide opportunities for children of all abilities to have fun, try new things, make friends, learn, grow and develop. Every child is valued for who they are and supported to be there best selves. We support parents through our 1-1 home visits, at our sessions and in our adult learning programmes. We help individuals by providing advice and practical support to help address issues.

Our History

Bonymaen Community Cwtch first opened its doors in spring 1999. The centre was originally situated in Cefn Hengoed Community School; in November 2010 the centre was temporarily re-located, after an unsettled few years we are now based in the old vicarage at 122 Mansel Road in the heart of Bonymaen. From the outset the centre has been well attended. We aim to make easily accessible opportunities for children and young people and their families to change their lives for the better. We work in partnership with a number of agencies in Swansea to ensure that a complete package of opportunities and support is on offer.

All of our staff are fully qualified and have a wide range of experiences working with children and families. We have a dedicated team who are committed to providing the community and our families with invaluable services.
