Christmas arrived early in Swansea this week, and it came in a rather BIG box!
On Monday 2 November, Faith in Families welcomed a giant Amazon toy box to Multibank Cymru (formerly Cwtch Mawr Multibank), bringing a wonderful donation of brand-new toys for children across Swansea.
The colourful delivery formed part of Amazon’s 2026 Toys We Love campaign, which is visiting six Multibanks across the UK.
A giant Amazon toy box with a very special purpose
Christmas should be a time of excitement, laughter and making memories. However, for families already struggling with the cost of everyday essentials, the festive season can bring added worry.
And thanks to the partnership between Amazon UK, Multibank Cymru and Faith in Families, those gifts will soon be making their way into homes across Swansea.
Every toy will stay right here in Swansea
The most exciting part of the Amazon toy box delivery isn’t just what’s inside. It’s knowing where those toys are going next.
Every toy donated through this special Christmas campaign will stay in Swansea.
Through our Community Cwtches in Bonymaen, Clase and Teilo’s in Portmead, Faith in Families will help make Christmas a little more magical for local children and families.
Our teams work closely with families throughout the year, building trusted relationships, providing practical support and creating safe, welcoming spaces where people feel they belong.
We see the challenges families face, but we also see their strength, determination and love for their children.
More than presents under a Christmas tree

We were delighted to welcome Councillor Rob Stewart, Leader of Swansea Council, to Multibank Cymru to celebrate the Amazon toy box delivery and see this wonderful partnership in action.
Swansea Council has played an important role in supporting our Multibank journey, helping us strengthen the support available to people experiencing poverty and hardship.
Together, this support helps essential goods reach people and communities across Wales with dignity.
While this particular Christmas donation will remain in Swansea, Multibank Cymru continues to support communities across Wales, connecting business generosity with people who need practical help.
It’s a partnership built on a simple belief: when we work together, we can make a much bigger difference.
