Cwtch Mawr, meaning ‘Big Hug’ in Welsh, is the first Multibank in Wales—a unique community hub tackling poverty by distributing surplus essential goods donated by businesses, including major partners like Amazon. Run by Faith in Families, Cwtch Mawr supplies warm clothing, toiletries, school uniforms, baby supplies, and household essentials to those who need them most. Working through a network of charity partners and care professionals, we ensure that support gets directly to families—quickly, discreetly, and without barriers. Cwtch Mawr is not open to the public, but operates as a referral-based system that flexes weekly with demand and stock, keeping it responsive and efficient.
