We are a charity based in the Town of Brecon, we are an enthusiastic, caring committed team. We host and
deliver projects to the local community and surrounding areas and our aim is to bring the community
together in a safe warm environment, all under one roof
What We Do
We provide a warm and inviting environment for the community and our partner agencies. The building provides disable access to all rooms on ground and upper floor level. We hire out rooms to the community and external organisations. Our Kitchen and Dinning Area can be hired out for informal meetings and cookery courses. Our main hall can be hired out for parties, large meetings and community events. It also has a wet play area, children’s toilets and access to an enclosed garden. We also a Meeting /Training Room which can seat up to 12 people. We provide wi-fi and flip chart
Our History
St John’s Family Centre opened its doors to the public in 2012. It is ideally located in St John’s Ward which has been recognised by the Welsh Government as an area of deprivation.

The Well Being Project Brecon
A faith based, organisation that works with children, families, older people and the elderly facing isolation or disadvantage, promoting well-being and healthy living opportunities.
Brecon Foodbank
Brecon foodbank caters for local people in financial crisis, and provides clients with seven days of nutritionally balanced, no-perishable food.

Mirrus Wales, work to help people with learning difficulties lead fuller lives and achieve their potential.
