Faith in Families Proud to Partner with Swans Trust as Charity of the Year for 2025

Faith in Families Swansea is absolutely delighted to announce that we have been chosen by the Swansea City Supporters’ Trust AKA the Swans Trust as their Charity of the Year for 2025. This partnership marks an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across Swansea Bay who are facing poverty and crisis.

The Trust was born out of necessity, stepping up to save Swansea City Football Club from financial ruin and giving the fans a voice—and now they are stepping up again, this time to support the people of Swansea who need it most. "At Faith in Families, we’ve spent over 25 years transforming lives across Swansea. Through our three community Cwtches and Cwtch Mawr, Wales' first multi-bank, we’ve been able to provide essential items like clothing, hygiene products, and school uniforms, as well as vital services such as parent and toddler groups, child therapy, and home support. Cwtch Mawr alone has already supported over 106,000 people in its first year."

A Vital Partnership for Families in Need

The partnership will begin with an initial donation of £2,500 from the Swans Trust and will also include proceeds from the Trust’s fundraising efforts throughout 2025. This support is crucial as we continue to respond to the urgent needs of over 25,000 children in Swansea Bay who are living in poverty, many of whom face daily struggles that remain unseen by most.

Faith in Families provides a cornerstone of hope for families facing significant challenges. Each of our Cwtches is located in areas of high deprivation, offering a welcoming space for families to receive tailored support that helps them thrive despite the obstacles they face.
