Christmas at Faith in Families always brings a mix of joy, hope, and pressure. For many parents we support, December often means stretching already tight budgets even further, especially when little ones are hoping for something special under the tree. This year, however, something magical arrived at our Cwtch Mawr Multibank — an Amazon toy donation filled with brand-new, top-ten toys delivered to help bring Christmas alive for hundreds of Swansea children.
The visit was part of a UK-wide effort, as Amazon delivered festive favourites to all six Multibanks across the country. When the colourful fleet of toy-themed vehicles pulled up outside Cwtch Mawr, our team knew straight away that something big was happening. Staff, volunteers, and families using the service couldn’t help but smile as boxes of exciting, high-quality toys were carefully unloaded and prepared for distribution.
Why the Amazon Toy Donation Matters This Christmas
For families living in crisis, even small seasonal extras can become impossible. Parents regularly tell us they feel torn between keeping the heating on, buying food, or trying to save for something their child will love.
